Are you interested in spending time in Neding?
Neding has ten retreat rooms and two retreat huts for short term retreatants or visitors, in addition to a three year retreat building for eight participants. You may meditate in Chatral Rinpoche’s house, in the common lhakhang (temple), in your retreat room, or in plain nature. The retreat rooms are simple, equipped with a shelf-shrine and a bed.

Neding lives from the generosity of its sponsors and visitors. Khentrul Rinpoche welcomes everyone in Neding with tea, meals, and, if they wish, prayers, teachings, and blessings. If you wish to stay for a retreat, you are most welcome. Every food item that we eat in Neding has been carried up from Tharkegyang, often transported all the way from Kathmandu. When you come for a retreat, please consider bringing food items to Neding to contribute to the provisions. Porters can be hired from Tharkegyang. We will gladly help you arranging your stay here. Before coming, please contact us at neding.yolmo@gmail.com to coordinate which food items are needed.

Meals are prepared in the communal kitchen. We cook on fire and use the pure water and organic vegetables (if availabe) from the garden.
